Use
Haloperidol is used in the treatment of Schizophrenia and other Mood disorders includes Mania in bipolar disorder, Nausea and Vomiting, Delirium, Agitation, Acute psychosis and Hallucinations in alcohol withdrawal.
Common Side Effect
Sleep problems, Dry mouth, Constipation, sudden lowering of Blood Pressure on standing, Sleepiness, Weight gain, Fast Heartbeat.
Precaution
It is not recommended in patients with Depression, Coma & uncontrolled seizures disorder.
