Use
Nicorandil used to treat angina, it works by increasing the blood flow through the blood vessels of the heart. It improves the blood and oxygen supply in heart muscle and reduces its workload.
Common Side Effect
Includes flushing, palpitations, weakness and vomiting, peristomal ulceration, toothache, and nasal congestion.
Precaution
Precautions should be taken with low blood volume or low systolic blood pressure, heart attack with heart failure and low filling pressures, mouth ulcers. Alcohol consumption should be avoided with this medication.
