Use
Duloxetine is used in the treatment of Major Depressive disorder, Generalized Anxiety disorder, Fibromyalgia, Neuropathic pain, Nerve pain (Peripheral Neuropathy) in people with diabetes or ongoing pain due to medical conditions such as arthritis & chronic back pain.
Common Side Effect
Nausea, Dry mouth, Sleepiness, Fatigue, Constipation, Loss of appetite, Sweating.
Precaution
This drug may cause drowsiness, so patients are advised to avoid driving or operating heavy machinery while taking this drug. Avoid heavy alcohol use while taking Duloxetine because this may cause severe liver injury.
