TELMISARTAN 40 MG
Use
Used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily.
Common Side Effect
Edema (swelling of arms, legs) sinus pain, congestion, headache, dizziness, nausea and allergic reactions.
Precaution
Contraindicated with medicines like Aliskiren, Digoxin, Lithium, Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Agents including Selective Cyclooxygenase-2 Inhibitors (COX-2 Inhibitors).care should be taken in diabetic patients. Avoid alcohol consumption.

AMLODIPINE 5 MG
Use

Common Side Effect
Include peripheral edema, dizziness, palpitations, flushing, fatigue, nausea, abdominal pain, somnolence, insomnia.
Precaution
Avoid if you are in shock including shock caused by heart problems, if you have severe low blood pressure (hypotension), have liver problems or if you are taking antifungal drugs (ketoconazole or itraconazole), antibiotic drugs (rifampicin, erythromycin, clarithromycin).

Use

Common Side Effect
Include headache, nausea, vomiting, photosensitivity, gout or weight gain.
Precaution
Avoid using hydrochlorothiazide, if you have liver disease, kidney disease, glaucoma, asthma, or if you are allergic to sulfa drugs or penicillin. Avoid drinking alcohol, which can increase some of the side effects of this medicine.
