Mometasone Topical (0.1% w/w)

Use
Mometasone is used to treat Nasal symptoms such as congestion, sneezing, and runny nose caused by seasonal or year-round allergies. Spray is also used to treat Nasal polyps (a painless benign growth on the lining of the nose or sinuses) in adults.
Common Side Effect
Headache, Bleeding and irritation of nose, Heartburn, Nausea or Vomiting, Fever or chills, Swelling of nose, throat, and sinuses.
Precaution
It should be very carefully administered in patients who have a disease of the eye and in a patient who has recently recovered from Tuberculosis (TB).

Class of Drug - Anti-inflammatory : Steroidal Glucocorticoid or Corticosteroid
