Use
Simvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication. It is also used to decrease the risk of heart problems in those at high risk.
Common Side Effect
Headache, Joint pain, mild Muscle Pain, Constipation, stomach pain or indigestion, mild Nausea, mild skin rash, sleep problems (insomnia), cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat.
Precaution
Consult your Doctor right away if you have unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness, especially if you also have unusual tiredness or a fever.
