Use
It is used in the management of hypertension and coronary artery disease (chronic stable angina, vasospastic angina).It can be used as either monotherapy or combination therapy for the management of hypertension or coronary artery disease.
Common Side Effect
Include peripheral edema, dizziness, palpitations, flushing, fatigue, nausea, abdominal pain, somnolence, insomnia.
Precaution
Avoid if you are in shock including shock caused by heart problems, if you have severe low blood pressure (hypotension), have liver problems or if you are taking antifungal drugs (ketoconazole or itraconazole), antibiotic drugs (rifampicin, erythromycin, clarithromycin).

Precaution
Bisoprolol may cause Heart failure in some patients. Consult your doctor right away :
if you are having Chest pain or Discomfort, Dilated Neck veins, extreme Fatigue, irregular Breathing, an irregular Heartbeat, shortness of breath, Swelling of the face, fingers, feet, or lower legs, weight gain etc.
