Use
Omeprazole is a medication used in the treatment of acidity, heartburn, intestinal ulcers and Peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger–Ellison syndrome [rare condition in which one or more tumors form in your pancreas or the upper part of your small intestine].
It is also used to prevent upper gastrointestinal bleeding in people who are at high risk.
It decreases the acid production in the stomach.
Common Side Effect
Bach Pain, Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Skin Rashes, Cough, Weakness, Abdominal pain.
Precaution
Precaution should be taken by patients with Liver failure or Hepatic insufficiency.
