Use
Prednisolone is used to treat certain types of allergies, inflammatory conditions, autoimmune disorders, Cancers, High blood calcium, Rheumatoid arthritis, Skin disorders, Eye inflammation, Asthma and Multiple sclerosis.
Common Side Effect
Nausea, Feeling tired, Sleep problems, Bone loss, Increased glucose level in blood, Weakness, Yeast infections & Easy bruising.
Precaution
It is advised that do not stop taking this medicine suddenly as it may cause withdrawal symptoms like after long-term or high-dose use can lead to Adrenal insufficiency (a condition in which the adrenal glands do not produce adequate amounts of steroid hormones).
